Hello and welcome! My name is Jenny and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Play Therapist. As a brief introduction, I obtained both a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rollins College. I work as a mental health counselor in an elementary school setting. In addition to working with children and families, I also enjoy helping others become licensed professional counselors by offering support and tutoring while they prepare to take the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
When I prepared for the NCMHCE, it took some time to find a strategy that best worked for me. I found that a combination of utilizing CounselingExam.com and spending one-on-one time studying with a friend was effective. But each of us has different needs and studying styles. It is important to find a strategy that works best for you.
We each face unique challenges as we prepare to take the exam. This can include finding the time to dedicate to studying, overcoming test anxiety, and being able to retain the level of information required to pass the exam. My goal is to help support you through these challenges with one-on-one tutoring that will normalize this experience and help you become familiar and comfortable with the exam materials.
Please review the Tutoring Tools, Why Choose Tutoring, and the Methods of Tutoring sections of the website for more information. I look forward to working with you!
